When I was just ten years old, I spent my summers working alongside my father on construction jobs. He taught me the value of hard work, attention to detail, and doing the job right the first time. Those early lessons stuck with me, and by the time I bought my own home almost 40 years ago, I was able to handle most of the carpentry and renovations myself. (To this day, my wife keeps me busy with her ever-growing list of home projects!)

With the support of my family, I officially launched Kaplan Painting in 1993. Over the years, the business grew thanks to word of mouth, repeat customers, and a reputation built on trust and quality. In 2016, I expanded to include Kaplan Handyman Services, offering a wider range of home improvement and repair solutions.

From big houses to small homes, interiors to exteriors, residential projects to the occasional commercial job—I’ve done it all. One thing that sets me apart is that I don’t just send a crew and disappear. I’m right there on-site, working alongside my team, making sure everything is done properly and to your satisfaction.
